Introducing the Workplace 100™

by David Mills on July 19, 2016

On July the 12th we were pleased to make the first publication of the Workplace 100™ (W100™).

W100 LogoWorkplace Hidden Opportunities and its companion website have two primary objectives: provide meaningful content about workplace and corporate real estate issues in an orderly framework with ease of access; and offer increased exposure within a fragmented marketplace to enhance communications and commerce between those with needs and those with the ability to deliver solutions for those needs.

W100The W100™ is intended as a depiction of marketplace participants vetted over time for their credibility and reputation. The Table of Contents outlines the topical issues and audiences addressed. The attempt has been to select those acknowledged in the W100 as illustrative of the topics from varying perspectives: 1) end-users and service providers; 2) business focus including technology aspects of corporate performance management, business intelligence, business process & spend management, social media networks, and industry & geographic benchmarks; 3) component real estate disciplines impacting the P&L and balance sheet; 4) industry specific applications; and 5) the role perspective within their enterprises including C-suite, divisional executives, managers & staff, and outsourced service providers. These viewpoints have the potential to provide a comprehensive insight of an ever-important industry in a dynamic global socio-economic environment.

For now we are publishing the names of eighty of the one hundred. Before we present the remaining twenty we are opening the channels for nominations until the end of the month. On July 31st we will publish the completed listing. I invite your recommendations.

Over the coming weeks the list will be indexed for relationship to the topics including summaries and links to their professional sites. This listing is alphabetized by first name followed by their affiliation and position.
